Elephants - boys and Miss Godfrey.
This was a day of considerable excitement since the cavalcade went off early after elephants - shot 2, wounded one and captured a white bull calf which followed into camp. It is strange to see this 10 month old elephant follow the men back to camp and refuse to be left alone. [Shantz travel journal, Sep. 9, 1919]
