No. 641g - red variety.
In the afternoon I photographed a series of Kaffir corns collected in Basutoland by Madame A. Dieterlen, wife of Rev. H. Dieterlen, a French protestant missionary. The heads were collected in 1910 and a spikelet of each with the label and SeSuto name given with the specimen. The photos should show the label, and necessary numbers - in two cases there are two distinct types under the same number. But I have put into the photo the word red or white to distinguish them and to enable the photo and sample to be associated properly. [Shantz journal, Oct. 11, 1919]
