A grass vegetation - Aristida?, sage, Gutierrezia like plant. Hill in back. The grasses called Bushman's grass, the long and the short, are regarded as valuable forage plants. Subsoil is lime - soil red and several feet deep - no profile. [Shantz travel journal, Sep. 17, 1919]
